Yesterday we decided to eat Falafel and as our favorite store (Siraj) was permanently closed, I suggested to try Tabooli at S. Waverly Rd. I went there and the store was empty no costumers and it looked like deserted place. There was only one worker there doing everything. He was nice and polite and welcoming. I asked the worker for a one dozen of Falafel to go, but he said that they don't do that and they have a plate of 2 pieces of Falafel with rice and salad for $9.99. I asked him again and he said he had to call his boss and ask him. He made the call and told me he will do it for $14.99 and I agreed and asked him to add a small plate of hummus and a small plate of garlic sauce and a small plate of Baklava. He asked me to sit while he fry the Falafel. After 10 minutes my order was ready. The worker add a small plate of rice as complementary and asked me to get a free drink with the Baklava too. I was thankful for that. My total was $36 which was higher than what I expected, but I said it's OK. When I went home and sat with my wife for dinner, we found out that the Falafel was so hard and greasy that we couldn't eat. My wife said that it seems that the Falafel was old and they ju

Loved the food so much! I stopped in for a DoorDash and left with a free sample of some amazing food will definitely be ordering this week! And great customer service highly recommend!

The meat was black and felt like jerky, I couldn't tell if it was burnt or left out for a week but it wasn't edible. The garlic sauce was like water and the cucumber sauce had no taste at all. Very disappointing and had to throw it away

Me and my bf met an awesome employee named Dip! He gave great service, was very personable, and had great energy! What a joy to be around! The food was delicious as well, I really enjoyed it! I definitely will be back!

This was the perfect meal after a long day, and the restaurant is wonderful! The employees are really nice and the food is fresh, homemade, delicious, and affordable! They are also a Lansing-based restaurant. Their falafel is so soft and delicious, and they have many toppings to choose from. I highly recommend for a chipotle-style, high-quality meal experience :) PS their chips are amazing too!
